My retro gaming collection has grown again! This time, I’ve added the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) to the lineup. The console is in fantastic shape—super clean, with none of that dreaded yellowing that often comes with age. It came with two controllers, perfect for multiplayer fun, and a Super Game Boy adapter. While I don’t have any Game Boy games to test the adapter just yet, it’s a cool addition to have.
What better way to break it in than with Mario Kart, a timeless classic that defined the SNES era? I also picked up a cartridge featuring Super Mario All-Stars and Super Mario World. This combo feels like the ultimate SNES starter pack, bundling nostalgia, charm, and hours of gameplay into one. My setup feels even more complete now, and I can’t wait to dive into these iconic games and experience the magic of the ’90s!
